Formed in 2008, Simon Kelvington is the result of Ken Simon and Bruce Kelvington recognizing they shared common values and viewpoints on serving clients. They are from different sides of the same state, but Bruce and Ken both embraced the vision of a firm that would always follow ethical, honest and open business practices. Work and family balance, reasonable and affordable fees, a commitment to technology and the efficiencies it provides are the values they hold.

Ken Simon, CPA, AIF
Bruce Kelvington, CPA
Originally from Philadelphia, Ken moved with his family to Florida in 2004. He is a graduate of The University of Vermont with a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in both Accounting and Finance. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1986. Ken is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
Ken’s expertise includes accounting system design, business entity formation, planning for retirement and individual taxes. A member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he also is a financial advisor, previously holding a Series 6, 7, 24 and 63 securities registrations. He holds his Series 65 and life and health insurance licenses.
Ken has been a seminar speaker on tax and accounting issues as well as a coach and adult Sunday School teacher. He believes that an educated client can make the best decisions, so he strives to help each client understand his or her financial situation. He loves his family, the church and baseball.
Bruce is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a business/ accounting degree. His areas of expertise include corporate and individual tax consulting and compliance, financial systems management, investment analysis and management, equity market research, comprehensive financial planning, estate planning and income deferral planning.
Bruce enjoys all aspects of finance and accounting but as an entrepreneur, he is very passionate about assisting with small/mid size and startup companies.
A member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Bruce is also a member of Orangewood Church and has served on local non-profit and chamber boards including Orlando Babe Ruth youth baseball, Lifework Leadership and Edgewater Foundation.
Bruce is married to Jackie Kelvington and has two children. He enjoys family time and anything outdoors including fishing and golf.

Ishan was born in Australia and lived in Fiji until 2010. He received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
Ishan joined Simon Kelvington in February 2022. He assists with tax preparation and retirement plans.
Ishan spends most of his free time watching soccer. He loves watching documentaries on different small businesses around the world. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
Originally from Vietnam, Jessica was raised in California and in 2010 moved to Jacksonville. She graduated from Stetson University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance and master's in Accountancy.
With Simon Kelvington since January 2021, Jessica assists in tax preparation, QuickBooks accounting, and retirement plan services. She holds a Life, Health and Variable Annuity Agent License.
She loves trying new restaurants and traveling, being around people and spending time with her closest friends.

Joseph is from Virginia and in 2007 moved with his family to Florida. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and from Colorado State Global University with a master’s in accounting. He obtained his CPA license in 2022.
Joseph joined Simon Kelvington in 2017. He assists new businesses with their accounting and payroll set up. He is QuickBooks Advanced Certified, provides tax preparation, ongoing accounting and assists with tax planning.
Joseph enjoys spending his time outdoors whether it is going for a run or playing sports such as basketball and soccer. He values his faith above all else and hopes to make a difference with each client he works with.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Sport Management and Business. He worked in full time Christian Ministry for five years as a recording technician and in financial systems and operations.
Mark began serving with Simon Kelvington in April 2023. He develops investment systems, assists in retirement plan services, and equity research. He holds a Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance License and Series 65 registration.
Mark is married and has one daughter and is expecting a son in August 2024. He enjoys fishing, golfing, and being active.

Beth is a Baltimore native and graduate of Loyola University Maryland with a B.A. in Economics and from Drexel University with an M.S. in Arts Administration. An original member of the Simon Kelvington team, Beth oversees marketing and provides administrative support and client services. She previously worked in concert production for a major orchestra and as a program manager for a nonprofit organization.
Beth loves writing stories, baking, gardening, and baseball. She enjoys singing and playing the piano.
Matt was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Orlando. He graduated from the University of Montevallo as a double major in Accounting and Finance while also playing baseball for the university. He has completed three of the four CPA exams.
Matt previously worked as an audit associate. At Simon Kelvington, he assists with tax preparation, accounting, and systems development.
Matt loves watching sports-- particularily the Phillies and Eagles, hanging with his wife and dog and cat, and playing disc golf.
Tanner Stanley,
Manager, Financial Planning
Born and raised in Maitland, Tanner is a graduate of the University of Richmond with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He played for the Spiders baseball team until drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 2015. After several years in the minor leagues, Tanner returned to Orlando to begin his finance career. He worked as a municipal bond trader before joining Simon Kelvington in 2024, where he assists with equity research, retirement planning, and wealth management. He holds a Series 65 registration and a Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance license.
Tanner enjoys reading, films, and screenwriting. He also loves playing golf, fishing, and spending time with friends and family at the beach.
